I see a couple people I follow post shots of their text conversation on their phone.

Some of them funny.

Some of them personal.

The funny ones I can understand (I’ve posted a funny text I’ve gotten before),  it’s the personal ones between people dating/fighting/whatever that I don’t really get why someone would post. Yes I know, “it’s your blog and you can post whatever you want”, but I just don’t see the appeal of letting people into personal conversations.

Lovey-dovey/simp texts are cute, I appreciate them myself, but I’m not going to share them with the world. It seems like these days everyone feels to share everything with everyone when sometimes they probably should just keep it to themselves. Especially in a relationship, that is between you and that person. Reading a conversation between you and the person you’re dating, I as a reader will never fully understand what ya’ll have together. And vice versa if I ever posted anything like that. People come to conclusions based off the limited information you leak out. I’m not saying that people shouldn’t talk about their feelings or love that they have but just be careful what you’re posting for friends AND complete strangers to read. And make sure the other person is okay with you posting their words for everyone to read because maybe the next thing you know you’ll be posting a screenshot of a blank text.
